“A new conductor to be remembered …

Written by DAS ORCHESTER about the Berlin-based Australian Tobias Foskett who impressed the audience as well as the critics with sweeping drive and self-assuredness.
His repertoire and experience equally cover the areas of symphony concerts and opera. His engagements include orchestras throughout Europe, as well as in the US and Australia. Tobias Foskett began his career at Opera Australia Sydney. Since 2003 he has been working in Europe where he also assisted Simone Young with the most important European orchestras and opera houses.

“This young conductor impressed (…) because of his quickness (…) because of his precise work in the rehearsals (…) because of his concise manner in which he drives the rhythm (…). Foskett’s assertiveness was clear in every movement and with every tempo.”  —  DAS ORCHESTER

“Foskett’s energy and musicality were apparent. (..) a fabulous young conductor, (..) the single brightest star of the night.”   —  THE HUNTSVILLE TIMES, USA
